The nursery is for twin baby girls. Their Mt Eden home is a sophisticated scheme in black, white and red, and the twins’ bedroom is an age-appropriate interpretation of this theme.
Black and white is represented in many patterns and textures from the spotted wallpaper to the plaid curtains, upholstery fabric and the feet & wooden trim on the sofa. The inspiration for the pops of colour come from the colourful floor rug. The repetition of dots is found in the floor rugs, side tables, ceiling pendants and the mirror. The little girls love their bedroom. The interior design was mindful of budget constraints.
