This home belongs to a client in the upmarket suburb of Grey Lynn, Auckland. The interior had quirky features that, unfortunately, did not enhance the beauty of the lovely patterned-plaster ceiling in the formal living room, the original cornices throughout the home, and the characteristic arch in the hallway. Happily, the client embraced my renovation ideas, including incorporating ceiling roses, and other decorative architectural features.
I transformed tired painted walls in the formal lounge, and guest bedroom with Zoffany wallpaper. The client has a penchant for art, antiques, and sculpture, and we took our time to find the perfect pieces. If they could not be sourced, we engaged an artist to take a brief, and create the perfect piece. Beautiful decorative ceiling pendants feature in every room.
