Project Description

50-ROOM HUNTING LODGE

Cordoba, Spain

The 50-room hunting lodge in Cordoba, Spain, is owned by a member of British aristocracy. I was responsible for Phase 2, the renovation of two Guest Houses. This included specifying the colours, finishes, tiles, lights, furniture, accessories and fabrics. I also liaised with upholsterers and manufacturers of the window treatments and bed linen.

The Duke owns a significant collection of antiques and I was responsible for reviewing the collection and selecting those pieces that would complement the overall design concept. I also managed the shipment of goods from London to Cordoba, and coordinated the unloading from the truck to their correctly allocated rooms. I visited Cordoba on four separate occasions.

My final role was to organize the snagging details of Phase 1, the Duke’s private residence.
